Lovely food served. Often places like these exceeds the quality in taste than the high end classy restaurants. I loved it. Although, the chick peas and chana daal wasnt that great. Chicken biryani and meat curry where a joy. Eat for a bargain , will surely be back again.

Very nice food, like home cooking, Lamb karahi was amazing specially that day they made it from desi ghee, mash fall was always tasty. Got some guest from karachi last couple of weeks, they enjoyed the food very much, so we ate food three days in a row almost every day. And prices are also very reasonable and portion of each food is quite big compare to other restaurants. Staff was also very nice. 100% recommendations

During my recent visit to Madina Grill House at 85 Upton Ln, London, I was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was simple yet charming, making it an ideal spot for both family dinners and casual outings with friends. I started with the Veg Samosa and Pakora, both of which were incredibly flavorful and perfectly crispy. The standout dish for me was the Mix Grill platter. It arrived sizzling with a mouthwatering assortment of chops, chicken kebabs, lamb kebabs, and wings. Each item was grilled to perfection, juicy, and infused with rich spices. For the main course, I tried the Chicken Biryani and Lamb Curry. The Chicken Biryani was aromatic and well-spiced, with tender pieces of chicken hidden within the fragrant rice. The Lamb Curry was another highlight, featuring succulent pieces of lamb in a robust and savory sauce. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I also appreciated the wide variety of options available for takeaway and delivery, making it convenient for future visits. Overall, my visit to Madina Grill House was delightful. The authentic Pakistani and Indian dishes, coupled with the inviting atmosphere and excellent service, made it a memorable dining experience. I had seen this place many times before, but never went in, as it always had a slightly old-fashioned look. One day, as I walked past, I decided to go in, and I am so glad I did. The food here is simply out of this world. The lamb curry, kebabs are amazing. For a decent dinner or lunch, you can’t really beat this place. The one thing I like is that they still do small portions of curries, biryanis, and vegetable dishes. Almost all other Indian/Pakistani restaurants have now got rid of that option, which means you would normally be buying more than what you want to eat/pay for. For example, Khana Khazana on Green Street London E7 also make some decent curries, but the basic portion is more than I could eat, and it costs more than double of what a small portion at Madina Grill would cost. Normally I wouldn’t buy the more expensive curry dishes because it feels like too much of a luxury but here, they are happy to give you a small portion and it is actually enough for a single meal. The food is always fresh. I can’t believe I never took advantage of this place before. Seriously, there may be fancier looking places, but there is no other similar locally that makes such great and authentic tasting Pakistani style food. This is not a fancy place, it is like the way Pakistani/Indian restaurants used to be before the age of gentrification, serving traditional food, with a home cooked feel. I would rather have some decent food than get overpriced stuff which mostly seems to charge for the presentation. I hope they continue to sell the small portions because these days it is hard to find decent cheap places to eat, and this place does it well. The first time I got food from here, I wasn’t sure if it would be any good. The guy who served me said, “if you like our food, every Friday we discount one of our main dishes. We freshly cook it and have a great offer price”. He asked me to come and try the lamb biryani the following week, and there were a lot of people who came in to take advantage of that offer. I was not disappointed.
